AIM:
The BDC aims at equipping the youth with correct information on blood safety and voluntary blood donation. It also aims in building their capacities as peer educators in spreading messages on positive behaviour in an enabling environment and increasing voluntary blood donation among youth.

OBJECTIVE:

To promote voluntary blood donation among youth.
To conduct the blood donation camps through out the year for govt. blood banks.
To create awareness in the society about the blood and blood donation.
To make people aware of safe blood transfusion.
To publish the posters, booklets to promote voluntary blood donation.
To motivate the donor of tomorrow.
To fight against the myths and misconception.

ROLE OF BLOOD DONORS' CLUB :

  bl  Organize and facilitate voluntary blood donation camps.

  bl  Mobilize the youth for voluntary blood donation.

  bl  To honour and encourage the blood donors blood donation camp organisers.

  bl  To educate the youth with correct and adequate information (to eliminate         myths and misconception)

  bl  To maintain the names of blood donors, blood groups and their contact         numbers which will help to meet the emergency needs

  bl  Sensitize the youth regarding the needs of blood donation and instil in them         the spirit of helping the needy people.

  bl  Ensuring sustainability of members in the club.

  bl  Create linkage between youth and governmental non-governmental         agencies and who work towards the voluntary blood donation movements.

  bl  Monitoring and evaluation of blood donors club activities.
